The Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP) evaluates hazard vulnerabilities and outlines mitigation actions that local jurisdictions, like Westborough Water District, will implement to minimize injuries, property damage, and community disruptions caused by disasters. It addresses both natural and human-caused hazards, including flooding, drought, wildfires, landslides, severe weather, terrorism, cyber threats, pandemics, and the impacts of climate change.

Community members are invited to review the draft plan and share their comments. You may share your feedback online during the comment period between May 15 - June 15, 2026. Your feedback will help ensure the plan reflects local experiences and priorities, strengthening the county's ability to secure state and federal funding for future mitigation projects.
